Egyptian Railways publishes 2026 train timetables for Cairo‑Alexandria and Aswan routes

The National Authority for Egyptian Railways announced the full 2026 timetable on Monday, 13 July. For the Cairo‑Alexandria line the schedule includes luxury Talgo and VIP services, Russian‑type dynamic‑ventilation trains, and Spanish‑modified and air‑conditioned third‑class units, with departures spanning early morning to late evening and corresponding arrival times. The same day, the authority released the Aswan‑Cairo schedule featuring VIP, Talgo, sleeper, Russian, Spanish‑modified and dynamic‑ventilation trains, each with specific departure and arrival times aimed at reducing travel time and enhancing passenger comfort.
