Egyptian Railways publishes July 8 train schedules and online ticketing details

The National Authority for Egyptian Railways released the official timetable for Wednesday 8 July 2026, covering all major domestic routes. The schedule lists departure and arrival times for Talgo, VIP, French‑style, Spanish‑engineered and air‑conditioned third‑class services on both the Cairo‑Alexandria corridor and the southern lines to Aswan, Luxor, Qena, Sohag, and other destinations.

Tickets for all listed services can be booked online through the railways’ website or mobile apps (Android and iOS). Purchasers must register with personal details, choose travel dates up to 14 days in advance, and pay via Visa or MasterCard, with a 4 % surcharge applied to each ticket. First‑class fares on the southern routes range from roughly 150 EGP (Cairo‑Beni Suef) to 480 EGP (Cairo‑Aswan), while second‑class tickets range from about 120 EGP to 320 EGP.

The publication aims to facilitate travel planning and provide price transparency for commuters and tourists across Egypt.
