Egyptian spiker Ahmed Azab signs with Italy's Belluno Volley

Ahmed Azab, a 2‑metre‑tall opposite born in 2000, has been added to the roster of Belluno Volley for the upcoming Serie A2 Credem Banca season. The Egyptian Olympian, who competed in the Paris Games and previously played for Petrojet, Al Ahly and Qatar's Al‑Rayyan, will wear number 22.

Club president Sandro Da Rold confirmed the signing, noting that Azab strengthens an already strong opposite line that includes Karli Allik, Marco Cantagalli and Francesco Corrado. Sport director Alessandro Carniel highlighted positive references from Cuneo’s management and national team coach Marco Bonitta, describing Azab as a powerful attacker with a strong serve. The move aims to boost Belluno’s competitiveness in the Italian second division.
