Egyptian Veterinarian Syndicate holds regional tour in Fayoum and Beni Suef

The General Syndicate of Veterinarians in Egypt has launched the fourth stage of its ‘Voice of the Veterinarian’ initiative, holding meetings in the Fayoum and Beni Suef governorates. Led by General Syndicate President Dr. Magdy Hassan, the tour aims to facilitate direct communication between the syndicate leadership and local veterinarians to discuss professional, service-related, and legislative issues.

Key topics discussed during these sessions include plans to develop veterinary administration, enhance training and education, and increase pensions. Participants also addressed the urgent need for faster appointment procedures for veterinarians to address shortages in various sectors, which is linked to protecting livestock wealth, food safety, and public health.

Local syndicate leaders emphasized the importance of integrating veterinarians into the medical cadre and organizing practical training years for graduates. The initiative, which has already covered several other governorates including Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria, intends to continue across all remaining provinces to bring professional demands to legislative and executive authorities.
