Egypt's Ahl Al-Masr Burn Hospital Gains ICU Support from National Bank and GASCO

The National Bank of Egypt signed a cooperation protocol with Ahl Al‑Masr Hospital for Burn Treatment to equip an adult intensive‑care unit. The bank will fund the finishing and electromechanical work (E GP 54 million) and purchase medical equipment (E GP 72 million), creating 14 ICU rooms for critical burn patients. Bank CEO Mohamed Al‑Tirabi said the bank “places great importance on supporting health initiatives that improve the quality of specialized medical services for citizens.”

The Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO) also signed a protocol with the same hospital to build and fully equip a single intensive‑care room. The agreement covers all medical and non‑medical equipment needed to enhance the hospital’s critical‑care capacity. Dr. Heba Al‑Sawi, founder and chair of the hospital’s board, said, “Effective partnerships are a key pillar that enables us to continue developing our medical services and reach the greatest number of patients.”
