Egypt's Dakahlia Governor intensifies enforcement on street violations and fortified flour distribution

Governor Tarek Marzouk of Egypt's Dakahlia Governorate reported the continuation of daily campaigns to clear street obstructions in the city of Al‑Kurdy. The operations removed illegal sound systems, unlicensed advertisements and other impediments, coordinating municipal, environmental and police units to restore smooth traffic flow and improve the urban appearance.

In parallel, the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade seized 61 sacks of fortified wheat flour that had been diverted to the black market and issued 106 regulatory violations across markets, bakeries, fuel stations and other supply points. The actions, carried out under directives from the Minister of Supply, aimed to protect consumer rights, ensure fair pricing and maintain market stability.

Both campaigns reflect the governor's broader effort to enforce regulations, curb illegal activities and safeguard public welfare throughout Dakahlia.
