Egypt's Defense Minister honors military leaders

General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, presided over a ceremony to honor several military leaders for their service.

The honored leaders were awarded the Second Class of the Order of the Republic, a distinction approved by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in recognition of their dedicated service and contributions to the nation. The ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff General Ahmed Khalifa, various branch commanders, and the families of the honorees.

During the event, General Zaher conveyed greetings from President el-Sisi to the leaders, noting that their contributions to building military strength and performance will serve as a model for future generations in maintaining Egypt's national security.
