Egypt's education ministry oversees secure secondary school exam day

Governor Tariq Marzok of Dakahlia province monitored the start of the national secondary school examinations through the National Emergency and Safety Network, confirming full student attendance and the provision of care facilities. He coordinated with senior provincial officials and the Ministry of Social Solidarity to keep exam sites clean and obstacle‑free.

Education Minister Mohamed Abdel‑Latif supervised the exams from the ministry’s central operations room, directing strict inspections that ban mobile phones and other electronic devices. He ordered immediate legal action against any violations and worked with the Ministry of Interior to secure exam centres. The ministry reported that 878,914 students in the new system and 3,618 in the old system sat for the Arabic paper, alongside 284 blind‑school students. Officials said the exams proceeded smoothly across the country with full security and logistical support.
