Egypt's Electricity Minister announces worker incentives and inspects networks

Egypt's Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mahmoud Esmat, has announced upcoming incentive measures for employees across various electricity companies. The minister expressed appreciation for the efforts of workers in production, transmission, and distribution, stating that improving their conditions is a priority for the current phase.

In a separate development, Minister Esmat conducted a field visit to the new cities network sector in 10th of Ramadan City. During the inspection, he reviewed progress on energy efficiency plans, consumption rationalization—particularly in the industrial sector—and the implementation of safety and occupational health standards. The visit also focused on monitoring service quality, response times to complaints, and the stability of the electrical supply in industrial and residential areas.
