Egypt's Interior Ministry Opens Police Academy Admissions for 2026‑2027

The Ministry of Interior announced that applications are open for a new intake of students at the Technical Health Police Institutes in Cairo and Alexandria for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Eligibility requires Egyptian nationality, age 18‑25, specific height and weight standards, at least 60 % in the high‑school certificate (including 65 % in English), completion of mandatory military service or exemption, unmarried status, clean criminal record and medical fitness. Application forms are accepted from 18 July to 28 August 2026 at police hospitals in several cities, with results posted between 22 July and 1 September.

The police college also opened its enrollment window. Candidates must submit biometric data (fingerprint and facial scan) at the academy’s Gate 5 and complete an online questionnaire. Test results and schedules are published on the ministry’s website. Additional services include electronic document handling, on‑site assistance desks, and dedicated phone lines for inquiries. Successful graduates receive a diploma and full pay, uniform and monthly allowances, plus post‑graduation benefits provided by the ministry.
