Egypt's Labor Minister Announces 1,100 New Jobs at Eastern Company

Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad announced the creation of 1,100 new jobs at the Eastern Company (Al‑Nasajoun Al‑Sharqiyoun) in the industrial zone of Al‑10th of Ramadan, Egypt. The vacancies include 500 production technician posts, 500 weaving‑assistant positions, 60 engineering roles (30 for recent graduates and 30 for engineers with at least five years of experience in electricity, mechanics or electronics) and 40 forklift‑driver jobs. Applicants must submit Form 111, a birth certificate, a military service certificate for men, academic qualifications, a personal photo and a national ID copy. The positions offer seasonal bonuses, annual profit sharing, transport and meal allowances, rapid promotion opportunities and a stable work environment. The initiative follows President Abdel Fattah al‑Sisi’s directive to boost national industry, link vocational training to employment and provide decent work for youth. Yasmine Khamees, honorary president of the Investors Association and head of the Eastern Company, met with the minister to discuss expanding cooperation and training programmes that meet industry needs.
