Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education warns students of fraudulent entities
The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched an awareness campaign to protect students and parents from fraudulent educational entities. This initiative coincides with the university and institute admission coordination process for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Officials have emphasized that the ministry will not tolerate any entity operating without a license or promoting unaccredited certificates. Students are advised to verify the accreditation of any institution via the ministry's official lists and to be wary of misleading advertisements using phrases such as "guaranteed admission" or "internationally accredited certificates."
