Egypt's Ministry of Justice and Bank Misr partner to offer notary services in bank branches

On 19 July 2026, Egypt's Ministry of Justice and Bank Misr signed a strategic cooperation protocol to provide real‑estate registration and notarisation services inside selected bank branches. The agreement was signed by Justice Minister Mahmoud Helmy El‑Sharif, Bank Misr CEO Hisham Akasha, and senior bank officials, and will initially be rolled out at the Taseen branch in the Fifth Settlement before expanding to additional locations.

The partnership aims to streamline documentation for customers, reduce processing time, and contribute to Egypt’s digital‑transformation agenda and Vision 2030. Both officials highlighted that the initiative integrates public services with the private banking network, enhancing accessibility and efficiency for citizens.
