Egypt's President el-Sisi reviews Justice City digital project

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Justice Mahmoud Helmy El-Sherif in El Alamein to review the progress of the ‘Justice City’ project in the New Administrative Capital. The project aims to establish an integrated digital judicial environment to facilitate swift justice and provide advanced technological services within judicial headquarters.

President el-Sisi emphasized the importance of adhering to project timelines and maintaining high technical standards. The meeting also covered developments in real estate registration and documentation services. The Ministry of Justice has signed cooperation protocols with the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr to open 11 specialized documentation branches within bank premises. Additionally, new mobile documentation units and remote services via the ‘I Want to Make a Power of Attorney’ application have been introduced.

Furthermore, the Minister of Justice highlighted efforts to improve family court services, including an electronic system to suspend certain government services for those failing to pay alimony across 38 primary court offices. The ministry continues to focus on accelerating the resolution of judicial cases by providing an optimized working environment for both judges and litigants.
