Egypt's Public Prosecution Launches E‑Service to Track Lost Phones

The Egyptian Public Prosecution has introduced an online service that lets citizens locate lost or stolen mobile phones. Users access the "Citizen Services" portal, select the "Track Lost Phones" option and submit a form with their full name, national ID, phone number, brand, IMEI, date and place of loss, and incident details. The system processes the request digitally, eliminating the need to visit prosecution offices, and provides a direct link and QR code for quick access.

In the same announcement, the Prosecutor General expressed condolences for police officers killed on duty, naming the fallen officials and offering sympathy to their families and the Ministry of Interior.
