Egypt’s Qaderoon Be Ikhtilaf Fund launches strategic empowerment roadmap

The Qaderoon Be Ikhtilaf Fund, chaired by Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy, held its inaugural board meetings at the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the New Administrative Capital. The meetings focused on the fund’s strategic vision, branding, and implementation mechanisms for projects and programs through the end of the 2026-2027 fiscal year.

The fund’s work is organized around six primary pillars: health and rehabilitation, economic empowerment and decent work, education and talent development, accessibility and inclusive environments, community awareness, and research and evaluation. The National Council for Persons with Disabilities will provide technical support to ensure these efforts align with the national strategy for empowering persons with disabilities (2026-2030).

Additionally, the fund has signed a sponsorship protocol to host the second phase of the 10th Special Olympics Regional Games in 2026, titled ‘Performance Sports.’ The event is expected to involve 173 athletes from 12 countries, reflecting Egypt’s commitment to transitioning from a model of care to one of rights and social inclusion through sports.
