Egypt's Social Solidarity Minister visits senior artists' residence

Egypt's Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Maya Morsy, visited the residence for senior artists in 6th of October City. The visit coincided with International Day for Older Persons and the month of October, dedicated to honoring the elderly.

Accompanied by Ashraf Zaki, President of the Actors Syndicate, and various union members, the Minister inspected the facilities provided by the Soft Power Foundation. She reviewed the services and care mechanisms available to residents to ensure a dignified living environment that reflects their cultural and artistic contributions to Egyptian society.

Dr. Morsy emphasized that providing social protection and integrated services for the elderly is a continuous state commitment and a shared societal responsibility. Ashraf Zaki highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Ministry and the Syndicate to support artists and ensure their welfare.
