Erdoğan meets with martyr families and veterans

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the families of martyrs and veterans at the Presidential Complex to reaffirm the state's commitment to their welfare. During the meeting, which included Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Erdoğan emphasized that the nation and its flag are a sacred trust left by those who fell for the country.

Erdoğan highlighted the progress of the ‘Terror-free Turkey’ process, noting that the Parliament recently took a significant step by passing a bill aimed at the disarmament of militant groups. He attributed the current position of the state to the heroic struggles of security forces and recent advancements in the national defense industry, stating that separatist ambitions will not be realized.

Minister Göktaş also participated in the discussions, stating that the needs and expectations of martyr families and veterans are being evaluated comprehensively and that the ministry will continue to support them with a sense of national responsibility.
