German magicians Andreas and Chris Ehrlich, known as the Ehrlich Brothers, have shared an emotional tribute to their father on Instagram, marking 13 years since his passing.
Their father died in 2013 at the age of 65 after a battle with leukemia. The brothers described him as a vital mentor who spent countless hours in their workshop helping them develop technical skills and build their first illusions. They noted that his influence was foundational to their careers, stating, ‘Where you were, there was music, family & love.’
Chris Ehrlich previously mentioned that their shared time in the workshop ‘welded them together infinitely.’ The brothers recalled that their last joint project was a motorcycle illusion, which their father did not live to see performed on stage.
