Ehrlich Brothers reveal real names and personal history

German illusionists Andreas and Chris Ehrlich, known professionally as the Ehrlich Brothers, have revealed that their stage surname is an illusion and their real family name is Reinelt. The brothers, who grew up in Herford, began their magic careers performing under different names, such as 'Andy McJoy' and 'Chris Joker', before joining forces in 2000.

In recent interviews, the duo also shared personal anecdotes from their youth, including a period where they were both in love with the same woman. Chris noted that he may have been less than transparent about his whereabouts during that time, while Andreas joked that she 'chose the wrong one' after Chris ultimately won her affection.

Their career has evolved from small corporate events to massive stadium shows. They credit their father as a central figure and visionary in their development of complex illusions. RTL is scheduled to broadcast their stadium show, 'No Limits', alongside a backstage documentary.
