Şehzadeler Municipality completes 72% of plain road maintenance

Şehzadeler Municipality has completed 72 percent of its planned 350-kilometer plain road maintenance project for the 2026 season. The initiative, managed by the municipality's Directorate of Science Affairs, aims to ensure farmers have safe and uninterrupted access to their agricultural lands.

To date, the project has included 116,000 meters of material-based maintenance and 138,000 meters of non-material maintenance, totaling 254 kilometers of completed roads. As of mid-September, approximately 86,800 tons of material have been utilized. Mayor Hakan Şimşek stated that the works, which began in May, are expected to continue until the end of October, depending on weather conditions.
