Eichenzell revives traditional Munkenhüttenfest

The Munkenhüttenfest, a traditional festival organized by the Gesangverein Concordia 1900 Eichenzell, has been successfully revived after a ten-year hiatus. Held in Eichenzell under favorable weather conditions, the event featured an open-air service led by Pastor Dr. Guido Pasenow, which included tributes to both living and deceased members of the singing society.

The festival included musical performances by the Cantissimo mixed choir and coincided with the 115th anniversary of FC Britannia Eichenzell. Local officials, including Mayor Johannes Rothmund and local administrator Christian Meier, attended the festivities, which celebrated the long-standing tradition of volunteerism and community engagement in the region.
