Eichsfeld launches new volunteer agency EicEn

The Eichsfeld district has launched a new volunteer agency named ‘EicEn’ to serve as a central contact point for civic engagement and volunteer work throughout the region. Operating under the motto ‘I can. We can. Eichsfeld can.’, the agency aims to connect individuals, clubs, initiatives, and organizations.

Managed by Chantal Anik Dietrich, EicEn will provide support regarding funding opportunities, qualifications, recruitment of new members, and the placement of volunteers. The agency also utilizes the ‘FreiNet’ engagement platform, allowing organizations to publish their needs and interested individuals to specify their preferred areas of involvement.

The agency will officially open its new premises in Worbis on October 1.
