Eiffage wins €132 million in French hospital contracts

Eiffage has secured two major healthcare infrastructure contracts in France totaling €132 million. Through its subsidiaries Eiffage Construction and Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, the company will contribute to the development of the Angers University Hospital and the new Avallon hospital centre.

The Angers University Hospital project, valued at approximately €109 million, involves the construction of a 38,400 m² medical-technical platform. The facility will house emergency services, operating theatres, imaging, and critical care units. The project aims for high environmental standards, including HQE Excellent certification and the E+C Level 3 label, utilizing bioclimatic architecture and renewable energy. Construction began in July 2026, with an expected completion in late 2029.

Additionally, Eiffage Construction is the lead contractor for a consortium designing and building the Avallon hospital centre. This contract is worth nearly €31 million, with Eiffage’s specific share valued at €23.5 million. The 9,676 m² facility is expected to be the first hospital in France to comply with RE2020 regulations, utilizing low-impact materials.
