Eight Croatian gymnasts qualify for World Championships in Rotterdam

Eight Croatian gymnasts have qualified to compete in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which will take place in Rotterdam from October 17 to 25.

Mila Prpić and Christina Zwicker secured their spots through their performances in the all-around competition in Zagreb, joined by European all-around champion Illia Kovtun.

Other qualifiers, who earned their places through points accumulated during the World Cup series in Antalya, Cairo, Baku, and Osijek, include Tijana Korent (vault), Sofia Mešter (uneven bars), Tina Zelčić (balance beam), Tin Srbić (pommel horse), and Aurel Benović (vault).

Mario Vukoja, an advisor to the president of the Croatian Gymnastics Federation, noted that while it is difficult to qualify, the group represents an optimal number of athletes. He highlighted Tin Srbić and Aurel Benović as strong potential finalists, provided they remain healthy.
