Eight injured in chain‑reaction traffic crash on Kula‑Eşme road, Manisa

A five‑vehicle collision occurred on the Kula‑Eşme highway near Eroğlu Mahallesi in the Kula district of Manisa Province, Turkey. The accident involved a tractor, a truck and three cars that collided in a chain‑reaction after the tractor slowed to stop at the roadside and the following truck struck the car behind it.

Eight people were taken to Kula State Hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries. The victims included the driver of the car that was hit, two passengers in that vehicle and several occupants of the tractor. Local police and gendarmerie secured the scene and controlled traffic for a short period before normal flow resumed. The truck driver, Mustafa G., was placed in custody pending investigation.

Authorities reported that the incident caused temporary road disruptions but caused no fatalities. The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
