eiicon launches regional innovation programs in Sagamihara and Miyazaki

eiicon Inc. is managing two regional open innovation and acceleration programs in Japan to foster new business creation and startup growth.

In Sagamihara City, the ‘Sagamihara Innovation Gate 2026’ program has selected four host companies: Access Engineering Co., Ltd., Amano Corporation, Sagamiko Resort Co., Ltd., and Tokyo Gas Lifeval Sawai Co., Ltd. These companies are seeking nationwide partners to collaborate on themes including robotics, urban development through parking management, environmental sustainability in theme parks, and innovative housing services.

In Miyazaki Prefecture, the ‘hinata STARs 2026’ acceleration program has selected five participants, including four startups and one successor/intrapreneur. These participants focus on diverse sectors such as maps, plants, cacao, biochar, and caviar. The program provides support for business growth, co-creation, and fundraising through monthly events and networking opportunities involving local entrepreneurs and investors.
