Eičiūnai celebrates 20 years of

The village of Eičiūnai hosted the 10th annual "Takelis veda vėl namo" regional celebration, which coincided with the 20th anniversary of the Eičiūnai folklore ensemble "Žolynai."

Founded in 2006, the ensemble has become a central part of the cultural life in the Alytus district. Originally established under the leadership of Dalia Jusienė, the group is currently led by Milda Stanevičienė. Over its two decades of activity, the ensemble has participated in major events, including the Lithuania Millennium Song Festival.

The event featured various community activities, including education, games, and traditional festivities. Aurimas Truncė, Vice Mayor of the Alytus District Municipality, attended the celebration and praised the ensemble for its dedication to preserving Lithuanian culture and traditions.
