EIMA Quartet debuts at Almagro Music and Heritage Cycle

The EIMA Quartet made its official debut as part of the first Music and Heritage Cycle of Almagro, an event organized by the Almagro City Council. The concert took place at the Ermita de San Ildefonso.

The ensemble performed a repertoire focused on Spanish music for string quartet, featuring works by composers such as Enrique Granados, Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, Joaquín Turina, and Luigi Boccherini. The program also included the premiere of ‘Tres danzas para cuarteto de cuerda’ by Elena Muñoz de Morales, who is both a composer and a violinist within the group.

Based in Ciudad Real, the quartet consists of Elena Muñoz de Morales, Ismael Huertas, Marina Roncero, and Alberto Alía. The members are professional musicians with international training from institutions such as the Prins Claus Conservatorium, the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala.
