Einar Méndez, celebrity personal trainer, dies of sudden heart attack

Mexican celebrity personal trainer Einar Méndez died on September 4 at the age of 48 following a sudden heart attack at a gym. The news was confirmed via a video posted to his Instagram account by his wife, Yan.

Méndez, who had a social media following of over 46,000, was known for his dedication to fitness and his desire to establish a foundation to assist those without resources in learning training techniques. His wife memorialized him as “strong, resilient, kind” and requested that others refrain from speculating on the cause of death.

Among those mourning his passing is Mexican television presenter Martha Debayle, a client of nine years, who expressed deep sadness over the loss. Méndez is survived by his wife and three daughters.
