Eindhoven police arrest man after woman falls from balcony

A 48-year-old woman was found seriously injured in an alley behind an apartment complex on Philitelaan in Eindhoven during the night of Friday to Saturday. Police believe the woman fell from a balcony at the Strijp-S location.

A 44-year-old man from Eindhoven, who lives in the same complex and is known to the victim, has been arrested. The man reportedly reported the incident to the police himself. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the fall, as it remains unclear how the incident occurred.

Detectives have conducted forensic examinations at both the scene in the alley and the suspect's residence. Police are also performing neighborhood inquiries and seeking witnesses or camera footage from anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual near the Philitelaan around 02:00 AM.
