Einhell expands Power X-Change platform to over 350 devices

Einhell, a manufacturer based in Landau an der Isar, highlights the versatility of its Power X-Change platform, which connects over 350 devices including tools, garden equipment, and cleaning appliances through a single battery type.

A survey conducted by Civey on behalf of Einhell among 2,500 hobby craftsmen in Germany revealed that 84 percent of respondents want to operate all their devices using the same battery and charging system. However, only 50.3 percent are aware of manufacturers that offer household and cleaning devices alongside tools and garden equipment. Battery compatibility was cited as the most important purchase criterion for 63.3 percent of respondents, surpassing both performance and price.

The Power X-Change ecosystem also includes ten external platform partners. These include alkitronic, which produces torque screwdrivers for wind power maintenance, and Clesana.
