Einstein Hospital Israelita boosts health services in Andradina and Mato Grosso, Brazil
A technical team from Brazil's Ministry of Health, the São Paulo State Health Secretariat and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein visited Andradina to evaluate and share successful practices under the PlanificaSUS project, which aims to reorganise the regional health network.
In Mato Grosso, the Hospital Central de Alta Complexidade, administered by the Einstein Hospital, has reached full operational capacity with 287 beds and twelve surgical specialties, including Brazil's first public robotic surgeries in urology, gynaecology and paediatrics. The hospital is now a key reference for high‑complexity care within the SUS system.
