Einstürzende Neubauten to perform at Barezzi Festival in Reggio Emilia

The Berlin-based musical group Einstürzende Neubauten is scheduled to perform at the Teatro Municipale Valli in Reggio Emilia as part of the Barezzi Festival. Led by Blixa Bargeld, the group has been active since 1980 and is recognized for its influential role in the industrial music scene, utilizing unconventional percussion, metal, and electronic elements.

The performance follows the band's recent exploration of “alien pop music” featured in their album “Rampen – apm: alien pop music,” which blends melody and noise. The event includes a free screening of the documentary “B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West-Berlin 1979–1989,” focusing on the West Berlin underground scene of the 1980s.
