Eintracht Frankfurt adopts Real Madrid transfer model, eyes Valencia move for young defender

Eintracht Frankfurt is increasingly using a Real Madrid‑style approach to player transfers, securing high sell‑on percentages, buy‑back options and future resale bonuses. Recent examples include forward Noel Futkeu, whose €1.3 million return could net a ten‑million‑euro fee, winger Nacho Ferri with a potential €10 million move to Feyenoord, and striker Kaan Inanoglu, who carries a buy‑back clause after impressing at Dynamo Dresden.

The club aims to generate over €50 million in transfer surplus this season. At the same time, Spanish side Valencia has shown concrete interest in 18‑year‑old Eintracht defender Yannis Ahouannou, whose contract expires on 30 June 2026. Although he could leave on a free transfer, Valencia would need to pay roughly €300 000 in training compensation, which Frankfurt may waive in exchange for a future sell‑on share.
