Eintracht Frankfurt denies rumors of Markus Krösche departure

Speculation regarding the future of Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director, Markus Krösche, has intensified following reports suggesting a potential departure. Some reports indicated Krösche might take a hiatus after the transfer window closes and negotiate the dissolution of his contract, which runs until June 2028, in late September.

In response to these rumors, Krösche declined to comment directly, stating only that he wanted to ‘speak about football.’ Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter described his relationship with Krösche as ‘very decent,’ though he declined to elaborate further.

Club President and Supervisory Board Chairman Mathias Beck addressed the situation by noting that Krösche has reaffirmed his commitment to the club recently. Beck stated that the upcoming supervisory board meeting is a routine session and that there is ‘no reason to speculate about the future of Markus Krösche.’ Despite these denials, rumors regarding potential successors, including former Bayern Munich officials, continue to circulate.
