Eintracht Frankfurt players praise new coach Adi Hütter’s high‑press tactics

Eintracht Frankfurt’s forward Jonathan Burkardt and winger Ritsu Doan have commended the impact of new Austrian coach Adi Hütter during the club’s preseason. Burkardt said Hütter’s emphasis on high pressing and rapid attacks “suits me very well” and highlighted the increased intensity of the training sessions. Doan called Hütter “the boss” with “natural authority”, noting that “everyone on the team is in a very positive mood” and that the intensity they now feel was missing last season.

Both players reflected on a turbulent 2025/26 campaign in which Frankfurt used three different coaches, including a brief spell under Albert Riera that Doan described as “not an easy time”. The change under Hütter is seen as a clear shift toward a more aggressive, high‑press style.
