Eintracht Frankfurt pursues Noah Atubolu in goalkeeper search
Eintracht Frankfurt is actively working to resolve its goalkeeper situation ahead of the Bundesliga season. Noah Atubolu, the 24-year-old goalkeeper from SC Freiburg, has reportedly expressed a desire to join the club. However, negotiations face hurdles regarding a transfer fee, which Freiburg is said to value at approximately 15 million euros. Potential solutions being discussed include a loan agreement with a subsequent purchase option.
While Atubolu remains a primary target, the club is also exploring international alternatives due to uncertainty regarding the Freiburg deal. Internally, the club is managing several options involving Kaua Santos and Michael Zetterer. Although Santos was previously considered a likely departure, sporting director Markus Krösche has reportedly made efforts to retain the player. Meanwhile, interest from Leeds United in Zetterer has intensified, complicating the club's decision on which goalkeeper will serve as the primary starter.
