Eisbären Berlin goaltender Jonas Neffin records shutout in DEL victory

Eisbären Berlin has achieved a strong start to the DEL season, currently holding third place in the standings. A key factor in their success is the performance of their new goaltending duo, Jonas Neffin and Jack LaFontaine.

In a recent match against the Iserlohn Roosters, Jonas Neffin recorded a shutout in his first top-tier appearance for Berlin, leading the team to a 4-0 victory. Neffin, who was named the best goaltender in DEL2 last season, noted that his chemistry with LaFontaine has been excellent since the beginning of the season.

Sport director Stephane Richer has successfully rebuilt the team's goaltending rotation, allowing coach Eric Dubois to rotate players without a loss in quality. This stability has contributed to Berlin's position just one point behind second-place Wolfsburg.
