Eisenach hosts series of local anniversary celebrations
Eisenach is hosting several local commemorative events and celebrations. The Evangelische Kinderhaus ‘Hedwig von Eichel’ will mark its 120th anniversary with a family festival on September 11.
Musical commemorations include a concert by the Capella Jenensis baroque ensemble on September 20 at the Georgenkirche. The performance honors the 350th birthday of Eisenach court music director Johann Bernhard Bach and features works by Telemann and other contemporaries.
Additionally, Wartburg-Radio 96,5 will celebrate 25 years of broadcasting with a festival on September 12 at the Hellgrevenhofe, featuring live music and community activities.
