EIT Food launches second round of Ground2Scale+ program for agrifood startups

Applications are now open for the second edition of the Ground2Scale+ program, an eight‑week initiative supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Food Challenge Labs and run by SocialTech Lab. The free, English‑language programme targets entrepreneurs, researchers, early‑stage startups and SMEs in the agrifood sector and begins with a Challenge Lab Day on 12 September in Nicosia.

Participants will receive mentorship, online training on topics such as market validation, investment preparation and international growth, and will present their ventures at a Demo Day in November. A total prize pool of €2,000 will be split between the two best teams, each receiving €1,000 cash and the winning team gaining direct entry to SocialTech Lab’s 2027 Venture Builder programme. Applications close on 26 August.
