Eitorf launches second phase of Talachse urban development project

The municipality of Eitorf is launching the second phase of its ‘Talachse Eitorf’ development project. Following an initial round of public input regarding the town's future needs, a concrete framework plan has been developed.

A second ‘Zukunftsforum’ (Future Forum) is scheduled for October 15, 2026. During this event, the Eitorf economic development office and the planning firm Pesch und Partner will present the framework plan for the entire Talachse area, along with specific drafts for four selected key locations.

The project aims to integrate various development goals, including a diverse city center, the preservation of open spaces around the Sieg river, sustainable commercial and employment sites, and attractive residential quarters with short distances between amenities.
