Eizan Electric Railway and Charichari sign partnership agreement

Eizan Electric Railway and the bike-sharing service Charichari have entered into a partnership agreement to promote decentralized tourism in the Rakuhoku area of Kyoto. The collaboration aims to strengthen last-mile transportation from railway and bus stations to various tourist destinations.

The first phase of the initiative includes mutual promotion, such as advertising Charichari on vehicles in Fukuoka and Kumamoto to highlight Kyoto's charms, and displaying Charichari service information within Eizan Electric Railway stations. Additionally, a new Charichari bike-sharing port with five spaces will be installed at Chayama and Kyoto University of the Arts Station.

Through this partnership, the companies intend to improve regional mobility and support reconstruction efforts in Kumamoto by attracting tourists to the region.
