Ejiro Amos Tafiri announces fashion event series in Lagos and Abuja

Nigerian luxury fashion house Ejiro Amos Tafiri has announced a three-part event series scheduled for October and November 2026 in Lagos and Abuja. The program commemorates the brand’s 16-year history through a combination of industry discourse, creative education, and runway presentations.

The series begins on October 24 with the biennial ‘Fashioning a Legacy: Leaving a Mark in Time’ conference at the British Council in Lagos. This Pan-African platform will host keynote sessions and panel discussions for designers, students, and industry stakeholders. A key feature of the conference is the announcement of the Emerging Designers Grant, an initiative providing mentorship, equipment, and startup support to promising fashion entrepreneurs.

On October 25, the brand will unveil its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at a private Lagos venue during an off-schedule presentation alongside Lagos Fashion Week. The collection is expected to highlight the designer’s signature style of drapery, fluid tailoring, and indigenous textile craftsmanship. The series will conclude on November 15 with a private showcase in Abuja, targeting the diplomatic community, government officials, and fashion patrons in the Federal Capital Territory.
