Eker I Run to host corporate teams in Bursa

The 13th Eker I Run is scheduled to take place in Bursa on October 3-4 under the motto ‘Koşmak Gerek’ (It is Necessary to Run). Organized by Eker Süt Ürünleri since 2014, the event brings together professional athletes and amateur runners of various ages and skill levels.

The program includes 42K, 15K, and 5K races, alongside a Special Athletes Run and ‘Minik Adımlar’ (Tiny Steps) races for children aged 6-12. Activities begin on October 3 with a Shake Out Run at Hüdavendigar Park and a ‘Run with Your Dog’ event, followed by races on October 4. The event will conclude with a festival at Eker Meydan featuring dance performances and DJ sets.

A major focus of the event is corporate participation, aimed at fostering team spirit and internal communication. Following the previous year, where 93 corporate teams and 1,649 employees participated, organizers hope to increase corporate involvement this year. Top-performing corporate teams will be awarded trophies. The event is held in partnership with several entities, including the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and the Turkish Athletics Federation.
