Ekhaya FC reaches Airtel Top 8 final in Malawi

Ekhaya Football Club secured a place in the Airtel Top 8 final after a 2-1 victory over Karonga United at Lilongwe's Silver Stadium. Allen Chihana opened the scoring in the 44th minute, Karonga equalised from the spot, and Chimwemwe Chunga clinched the win in the 73rd minute.

Coach Enos Chatama praised his side’s resilience but warned that the team must improve game management and midfield organisation before the final, which will feature the winner of the Mighty Wanderers‑Blue Eagles semi‑final. The achievement marks a historic run for the debutants in this season’s competition.
