Eki Sushi to open in Cedar Hill, Texas

Eki Sushi is scheduled to open in mid- to late-September in Cedar Hill, located approximately 18 miles southwest of downtown Dallas. The restaurant will occupy a former Applebee’s at 649 Uptown Blvd. The establishment is led by Meng Yang and Ben Zhu, who have previously operated Asian restaurants in Texas.

The venue will feature two primary dining formats: a revolving sushi experience using a conveyor belt system and an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option. The AYCE service includes a 90-minute time limit and pricing that varies by time of day, with rates of $20 for lunch, $30 for dinner, and $31 on weekends. To minimize waste, customers may be charged regular prices for unfinished food. The menu will include sashimi, sushi rolls, and 25 specialty rolls.
