Eknath Shinde accuses Opposition of spreading false narratives

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has accused opposition leaders of using slander, defamation, and false narratives to undermine the ruling establishment. Speaking at a press conference, Shinde claimed that opposition figures are “restless, like fish out of water,” as they struggle to accept being out of power following three electoral rejections.

Shinde criticized the opposition for using personal attacks against those in power, stating such tactics are unacceptable and will not succeed. He further asserted that India remains a capable and powerful nation, distinguishing its current state from the recent political situations in Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Additionally, Shinde claimed the opposition has already lost to Prime Minister Narendra Modi three times and warned that continued misconduct would lead to further defeats by the public.
