EKO-KOM announces 2026 waste collection support project

EKO-KOM has announced the 2026 Project to Support the Intensification of Sorted Collection. The initiative allows municipalities to collaborate on optimization studies for waste management through the use of professional services or consulting firms.

Following high interest in 2025, the budget for the upcoming year has been increased to 1,200,000 CZK. Municipalities interested in having an external processor prepare an optimization study can submit their offers between January 5, 2026, and April 30, 2026, via the data box system. To participate, municipalities must provide a resolution from their council or assembly consenting to the cooperation agreement and the study processing.
