Ekrem Cıllı injured in agricultural machinery accident
Ekrem Cıllı, the Mayor of Saruhanlı in Manisa, was injured in an accident while working on his own agricultural land. The incident occurred during the grape harvest season when Cıllı was operating a grape spreading machine.
During the operation, his left hand became caught in the machinery. He was immediately transported by ambulance to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital for emergency treatment.
Medical examinations revealed damage to the tendons in his left hand, and he underwent surgery. According to official statements from the Saruhanlı Municipality, Cıllı did not suffer any loss of limb and is not in life-threatening condition. His general health is reported to be good, and he remains under medical supervision.
